Barrett Liebermann
Barrett Liebermann is a Research Intern at the Kurdish Peace Institute. She graduated from the George Washington University this year. She majored in International Affairs with a concentration in Gender in IA and minored in Psychological and Brain Sciences. In college, she was the Co-Director of Government Relations for No Lost Generations, which is a refugee advocacy organization at GWU. She was also an Outreach Coordinator for The Student Consortium for Women, Peace, and Security. She has also collaborated on a research project for the University of Rhode Island where she studied trends in COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy amongst refugees in the United States. In the fall, she will start a 2-year master’s program at the George Washington University where she will study global communication. Her goal is to bring awareness to gender based issues in international affairs, specifically related to conflict and conflict resolution.
