Helez Abdulaziz is the Executive Director of Insight Organization. She is the former director of the Violations Monitoring and Documentation Department at North Press Agency, where she also worked as an editor. She has been working in the field of human rights since 2019, primarily focusing on covering human rights violations occurring in Syria. She has authored several journalistic and human rights reports and investigations regarding various types of violations committed against civilians by all parties to the conflict in Syria.

As a KPI Regional Fellow, she covers Syria, with a particular focus on human rights issues, peace-building, women’s rights and minority rights.
