Serhat Tutkal holds a Ph.D. in Human and Social Sciences from the National University of Colombia and a master’s in Political Science from Ankara University. His research focuses on state-sponsored violence in Latin America and the Middle East. He is especially interested in the effects of state-sponsored violence and its discursive legitimation and delegitimation.
